Dining
The Stanley Village complex has two different dinning experiences, Stanley's on the Bay for dinner and the Whistle Stop Cafe for breakfast.
Stanley's on the Bay Restuarant
"Stanley's on the Bay" is our fully licensed restaurant - offers an affordable quality dining experience certain to impress. Superb steaks and succulent seafood!
Located in the Old Bond Store building built in 1859 Stanley's on the Bay carries the nautical theme of the area with some delicious seafood meals, particularly the shared seafood platter. Set in a relaxing ambiance you have the choice to have a drink on the lounge next to the fire prior to your meal or sit at any of the well positioned water view tables.
The Old Bond Store was originally built at the request of F.W Ford and used by him as a general store, it was later converted into a grain store part of which is still evident in the building today.
Bookings are advisable, particularly during peak season of October to March.
Whistle Stop Cafe
A converted railway station is home to the the Whistle Stop Cafe where breakfast is served each day from 8am. There is the option to have either a full breakfast or a continential breakfast, all whilst you enjoy a range of the local papers.
The railway station was originally located at Whiltshire, which is 15 minutes away, and was relocated in 1996 to form part of the Stanley Village complex.
